Our Home Base

The homeowners are busy professionals and parents who travel often and are always on the go. They have been to many exciting places all over the world and wanted to upgrade their backyard so it also felt like an exciting destination to always come home to. The old, raised wood deck had no connection to the ground level and lacked a sense of space. The client preferred more of a multi-space and patio-like feel that contained plenty of room for entertaining several guests, while also feeling cozy when it was just their family of four. Kodiak Granite stone pavers were used on all upper deck and lower patio surfaces, while Chilton Weathered Edge stone was used for all walls and built-ins, and glass panel railings were used to create a sense of openness. These happy clients now have a place they like to refer to as “Our Home Base”.
