When the contractor was first approached to take on this project it seemed exciting and straight forward. A lot to fit on a small lot, but reasonable homeowner desires and requests. After studying city code, ‘straight forward’ was the last phrase to describe this project! Numerous codes created hurdles. A challenging, detailed, and thorough variance process allowed for a permit to be granted, and all the homeowners’ desires to be incorporated into their landscape. The contractor’s design, construction and maintenance teams created a built-to-last, versatile, and beautiful landscape. Surpassing ten years, it continues to bring wonderful interest and functional uses to all those who experience it. Either enjoying the space close-up or passing by. Continuously cared for by the original contractor, this home and landscape are known and appreciated by most everyone in town.
