The maintenance brief with our client is simple—have the space ready for all the activities that unfold there throughout the year while keeping it in peak condition and looking beautiful. This means crisp edges, lush turf, beds and containers exploding with color throughout the seasons. It also means the pool area and hardscapes are perfectly maintained, the bocce court ready, the firepit poised for small outdoor gatherings beneath a setting sun, and the vegetable and cutting garden is able to produce fresh produce and cut flowers throughout the season. It is essentially, a dual brief—maintain it so it’s actually ready for the action, wear and tear their teenage boys would throw at it. And make sure it’s absolutely beautiful, ready for the friends and family to relax and entertain. It is no doubt that the maintenance team’s multiple weekly trips to this property are why we are able to meet and exceed this standard.
