Awards Application

One framed certificate will be awarded to each recipient of a Gold, Silver, or Merit Award. Your company name and project name will be listed on the certificate along with any additional names listed below. Other entries will receive a Certificate of Recognition.

Submission of this application releases copyright of any and all copyrighted photographs. These photos will not be distributed by the ILCA outside of ILCA and will only be used by the ILCA for promotional and educational purposes and/or in any printed and digital ILCA publications.

For each of the photos, write a short description below.

Remaining photos should be after the construction has been completed and at least six "after" photos are required.

Tell the story of your project. PROOF READ CAREFULLY before submitting, as the judges will be using this description in their evaluations of your project. Use the following questions to shape your summary: What did the client wish to accomplish? Were there any challenges to overcome? If so, how did you solve them? How did the final result meet expectations? Do not include references to your company name or other company identification. **The photo sequence you select will match your project description. Some applicants select the photograph sequence first and write the narrative to match, and others write the narrative first and then select the photo sequence that best matches.** Note: Please consider writing your summary in a way that can be read aloud if selected for a Gold award. Summaries will be edited for Gold Award voiceovers.

Select four photographs (one MUST be vertical) to use for the poster that will be displayed on awards night. ILCA reserves the right to select different photographs if necessary, but your preferences will be first choice. Provide either the photograph name or number in the spaces below.

Poster Photo Sizes: The premier photograph will be displayed at 12.25”w x 10”h. The vertical photograph will be displayed at 11.75”w x 13.5”h. The remaining two photographs will be displayed at approximately 12”w x 7”h. Photos do not need to match these dimensions but photos with these dimensions will ensure that nothing is cut out of the frame.
