Lisle Hideaway

We had an ample budget and were able to use first-rate materials on the Lisle Hideaway. Our additions complement the brick home without making use of that material, with native limestone providing a visual transition from the house out into the yard. The great visual attractiveness of the property is enhanced by vegetation that blocks the view from and to neighboring properties, giving the Lisle Hideaway ample reason to bear its name. It is a private sanctuary, but everywhere one looks on the property there is something of visual interest, ranging from a stair cased waterfall that looks wholly natural to a large covered porch that commands a view of the entire back yard and offers a comfortable place to visit with friends and family, in just about every weather. The lot is level, and our design lends depth and dimensionality to what would otherwise be a featureless span of grass.
