Serendipity and Sunsets

Dreams have come true at “Serendipity and Sunsets,” a newly built forever home nestled on picturesque Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. With steep backyard terraces running down to the shoreline, the homeowners sought to beautify the space with sustainable landscaping that would not only delight the frequent hikers along the path and boaters on the water, but also serve as a welcoming oasis for birds and pollinators. The challenges to achieve this were many, including limited accessibility to the terraces and its need to double as a boat storage spot in the winter. The solution was to plant a robust variety of smaller potted native species across the wide, steep areas, creating an ever-changing view of spectacular colors and textures that capture the attention of both humans and animals alike.
