Growing Landscape Architecture firm seeks a qualified, talented individual to join the firm as a Design Intern. Kathryn Talty Landscape Architecture is searching for a skilled candidate that is interested in many facets of landscape design and can be flexible to work in different capacities on a variety of projects. The right candidate should have experience with design software, be efficient in the execution of tasks and be enthusiastic about all projects, great and small. The position will support all design and production activity in the firm.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
• A recent graduate or pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Competency with design-relevant software such as AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Enthusiasm to learn all facets of Landscape Architecture
Employment Experience:
Your primary role will be supporting the production of project deliverables. However, interns at KTLA will have the opportunity to observe all aspects of the design process for a myriad of projects.

Employment Terms and Compensation:
Part-time remote or hybrid employment can start immediately depending on the candidate’s availability.
As an intern, the hourly rate will be negotiated based on level of education and qualifications. The pay-rate range is $16-20 per hour.
Employee performance will be evaluated at the end of three months. The internship may develop into a full-time position for the right candidate.
